Badgley and James Mischka


Badgley and James Mischka presented a collection that gave us day wear and evening wear. Shown were pieces for the office with black-and-white cotton tweeds, as well as gowns for the ball, with slinky lavender printed silk and hot pink gowns. The designers said their inspirations came from photos of myriad places, from Fifties Cuba to Palm Beach suppers to clothes for the school run, resulting in a collection that, while pretty and varied, lacked focus according to some fashion critics.
